Shuttle Bus Locations

These designated stops provide a regular ongoing bus service to the new Ballarat Showgrounds & Events Centre at 6 Rose Hill Road, Mount Rowan, Ballarat, Victoria.

Return shuttles will run continuously throughout the day.

Tips for a Smooth Ride

  • Arrive early to secure parking, especially on Saturday.
  • No booking required, just show up and hop on.
  • Keep an eye out for clearly marked “Ballarat Show Shuttle” signs.

Your Travel Guide

The 2025 Ballarat Show is held at the new Ballarat Showgrounds & Events Centre, located at 6 Rose Hill Rd, Mount Rowan, Ballarat, Victoria.  Whether you’re driving, cycling, catching a bus, or using rideshare, here’s how to get there:

By Car

  • From Ballarat CBD: Head north via Creswick Road and follow the signs to Midland Highway. Turn onto Rose Hill Roda, parking attendants will guide you to the designated parking areas.
  • Parking: Limited free on-site parking is available. Follow signage and staff directions for smooth entry.

 

By Bike

  • The Showgrounds are bike-accessible via local cycling paths from Ballarat North and Wendouree.
  • Bike Parking: Secure bike racks are available near the Main Entrance via Gate 4. Don’t forget your lock!

 

By Rideshare or Taxi

  • Rideshare services like Uber and DiDi are available throughout Ballarat.
  • Drop-off Zone: A clearly marked rideshare and taxi area will be available, with entry through Gate 3 and exit via Gate 2 to ensure smooth access and efficient pickup.

 

By Train

Travelling by train is a convenient and scenic way to reach the Ballarat Showgrounds & Events Centre.

From Melbourne or Regional Victoria

  • V/Line Services run regularly between Southern Cross Station (Melbourne) and Ballarat Station.
  • The journey takes approximately 90 minutes from Melbourne.
  • Check the latest timetables and ticket options at V/Line.

 

From Train Ballarat Station to the Showgrounds

  • Once you arrive at Ballarat Station, you can:
    • Catch a connecting bus or rideshare to the Showgrounds (approximately 10–15 minutes).
    • Use the free Park & Ride service from the station’s designated shuttle stop on Lydiard Street North.
    • Take a taxi from the station’s rank directly to 6 Rose Hill Road, Mount Rowan.
